Over the last several months, I have been hard at work on my sister Joanne's wedding dress. Her dress was a custom design, made of pink silk dupion and silk georgette, and was accented with lace motifs and crystal beading. Her veil was a two tier mantilla in chapel length. The lace on the dress and veil was hand dyed to match the fabric. She was a pretty princess in pink!

My daughter Sarah, who is throwing rose petals, and son Joshua were flower girl and page boy, and are on the right side of this photo. My two nieces were flower girls also, on the left side. It was a glorious day, filled with sunshine, joy and laughter. The happy couple were simply beaming with joy.

The wedding was on 14 March, and was held at Tatra in Olinda, Victoria.

The VEIL was stunning....and I have to tell you, the photographer when he first saw it said, "Now that's a veil!"

It was really stunning and matched my dress perfectly. I felt so beautiful, and my mother loved it! I think I love my veil more than my dress in a way...it's the most feminine form of frippery you can own or wear...and you can only wear it once! I have worn many dresses, and although not like my wedding dress, there will be lots of chances to look beautiful in them...but a veil is a true bridal moment....and mine was divine!

Pat was just wonderful. I contacted her from New Zealand, over Christmas with only 4 weeks until my wedding, having suddenly decided I wanted a veil at the last minute! Because of work committments, I didn't have time to go into local shops. It was all done via email and looking at her website. I sent pictures of my dress and described what I liked. She gave me great advice for the look I wanted and when the veil arrived it was a perfect match to my dress...which was an unusual shell pink colour, so not easy to match. It arrived on my door in Auckland within 2 weeks of ordering, and was a great price.

The veil was what made me feel like a bride....it really was stunning. I would advise other brides to use Pat as their first stop...rather than wasting time trolling the shops by foot!!

I would like to thank Pat for her efforts and attention to detail when designing my custom made veil. I wanted something difficult (a veil on the side) unusual I know but Pat worked her magic and the veil turned out gorgeous! I also wanted to steer clear of those puffy hard tulle veils, the tulle used by Pat was subtle and soft and fell perfectly when positioned in my hair. The veil was here so quickly and Pat was sure to keep in contact with me during the whole process, including sending many samples. It as very reassuring considering I live in Sydney and never met her personally. Thank you so much Pat I appreciate you helping me look my best on my special day!

Hi Pat,

I received my veil today. It is absolutely gorgeous! It is everything I was looking for. Delicate, pretty and so elegant. The tulle is so soft and beautiful!!

My veil was beautiful, and was exactly what I wanted. I purchased the ‘Allure Crystal’ waist length veil in Diamond White.

It matched the existing tulle and crystals that were already on my dress, complimenting it perfectly!
