This is a veil style which has lace trim right around all the edges, and no gathers. It is round cut and worn at the top of the head, secured with hairpins or attached to a head piece.
Princess Mary wore a mantilla veil when she married Prince Frederik of Denmark. She was a vision of beauty indeed!
An alternative is a mock mantilla veil, which has subtle gathers, and is cut into one or two tiers as traditional veils. Our mantilla veils are all custom orders. We have lace trims you may choose from, shown below. The lace trims are available in white and ivory. (A silk white veil would use white lace.) These lace trims are meticulously hand sewn onto the edges of the veil. Mantilla veils take some time to make, so they cannot be done as rush orders. Please allow 6 weeks for delivery. For something extra special, the lace can be hand beaded as well.
